Dr Craig J Masson

MBChB (Hons) DFSRH FRCGP

About

Dr Masson graduated with honours from the University of Glasgow in 2002. He went straight into GP training, becoming a fully qualified GP in 2006. He spent five years working as a full-time locum in Glasgow and Aberdeen before joining the practice in April 2011.

He has interests in COPD and asthma and in 2017 became the first GP in the UK to hold the ARTP/BTS Full Certificate in Spirometry. He also has an interest and training in menopause and contraceptive/reproductive services and can offer selected joint injections. He takes a keen interest in the administrative activities, maintaining the practice website designing practice publications.

From September 2017-July 2019 he was Clinical Director for East Renfrewshire HSCP, but relinquished this role to concentrate on the practice and is now back full-time. In September 2020 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in recognition of innovation and leadership.

He has a young family of his own.

Dr Jenna Andrews

MBChB DRCOG DFSRH MRCGP

About

Dr Andrews qualified with distinction from Glasgow in 2006 and subsequently undertook her GP training in East Renfrewshire. She then spent two formative years in Australia as a GP Principal (partner) at a mother & baby hub, before returning to the UK. During this time she did all the specialist qualifications to become the practice lead on contraception, including coils and implants.

She joined the practice as a salaried GP in 2017 and becomes a partner in April 2018. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, many different sporting activities and going to the gym.

Dr Sarah Maredia

MBChB DFSRH MRCGP

About

Dr Maredia (pronounced “Miridia”) graduated from Manchester in 2003 and became a fully qualified GP in 2008. She gained a wealth of experience working as a GP locum, salaried GP and GP Principal in England before relocating to Scotland in 2017. Recently she has settled in East Renfrewshire and is relishing the opportunity to be a GP in our Practice.

Dr Calum Patrick

BSc (Hons), MBChB (Hons), MRCGP, PGCert

About

Dr Calum Patrick qualified from Manchester University in 2016, with multiple academic awards, having completed an intercalated degree in St Andrews in 2013. He completed the GP Training Scheme in Ayrshire before spending a year in New Zealand working in prison medicine and GP.

On returning to Scotland he developed an interest in acute care working in A&E and GP out of hours. He taught advanced Life Support, completed training in Prehospital Emergency Care (PHEC) and completed a PGCert in medical ultrasound. He joined the practice in 2024 and now focuses exclusively on primary care.

His primary interests are in technology in medicine and communication. He has been involved in both Unix administration and Software development for over a decade.
