We are deeply saddened to announce that Dr Michael Morrice passed away on Monday evening, 8th December, after a battle with myeloma.
Mike’s passing will be most deeply felt by his beloved wife, Anne, children Amy & Rory, and grandchildren Freya and Ramsay. He has been sorely missed in the practice since his retirement less than two years ago, after 35 years of dedicated service and leadership, and we are devastated that Mike and his family have been so cruelly robbed of the happy retirement he so deserved.
During his decades with the practice, many of you will have got to know him well, no doubt having multiple generations in your own family well looked after by such a thoughtful, caring man. We thank him for everything he did to make the practice what it is today. Our thoughts are with Anne and the rest of Mike’s family at this terrible time.
His funeral is on Monday 22nd December at 11am, at the Warriston Crematorium in Edinburgh.
